Are you a dirty dancer?
The sequel to the phenomenon of Dirty Dancing tells the story of a young woman's discovery of love, sensuality and fun. A lonely 17-year-old American girl Katey (Romola Garai) moves to Havana with her parents, months before the Revolution. Katey turns her back on the smart set of American teenagers at her home of the exclusive Oceana Hotel, and soon becomes drawn to Javier (Diego Luna), a handsome waiter and brilliant dancer.
Sparks fly, and Katey persuades Javier to partner with her in a prestigious national dance competition at Havana's glittering casino, The Palace. But the coming Revolution spells trouble for the couple's romantic plans.
Set in Havana, Dirty Dancing 2 is full of spectacular dance moves and irresistible Cuban music. It made our feet tap and our hearts melt but it makes us wonder how much romance and passion we have in our lives. Dance is the language of love after all.
